On August 15th, the halls of Enfance came alive with the colours of the tricolour as we celebrated our 79th Independence Day with pride, joy, and a whole lot of heart.
A Morning Full of Patriotic Spirit
The day began with our flag hoisting ceremony, where children and teachers gathered in the courtyard. The children recited the national pledge with remarkable confidence, their little voices ringing out clearly in the morning air.
Cultural Performances
Each class prepared a special performance — dances, songs, poems, and skits — all celebrating the freedom and diversity of our beautiful nation. From folk dances to patriotic songs, every child participated with enthusiasm and pride.
Craft Corner
In the afternoon, our craft stations were buzzing with activity. Children made tricolour pinwheels, paper flags, and freedom-themed collages. The artwork now decorates our classroom walls as a beautiful reminder of the day.
Sharing Our Gratitude
We take these moments seriously at Enfance — not just as a holiday, but as an opportunity to teach our youngest citizens what it means to belong to something larger than themselves. Gratitude, respect, and community are values we weave into every celebration.
